Split Ring and Hook This is a great item for hanging toys or hammocks. These are much stronger than some craft varieties and I personally prefer this kind. $2.25 for a set of 8 (4 rings and 4 hooks) Rope 
Sisal $0.25/foot-this sisal is 1/4" think but can be split into 3 pieces for thinner rope
Seagrass rope $0.20/foot 1/4" thick- you can split this as well for smaller thickness.
