Lifeline is a great product! I've used it with my one of my own chinchillas.

Line is in powder form, so it takes MINIMAL effort to digest. This helps the body have extra strength to heal.
The large amounts of digestive enzymes help the body absorb more nutrients from any food consumed.
The Natural Herbs included Increase stomach acidity, aiding digestion. While slightly anesthetizing mucous membranes and the GI tract, helping to stimulate the appetite, cure diarrhea, indigestion, irritable bowel, & nausea.
Electrolyte helps to re-hydrate.
The Probiotics help to undo the damage done by antibiotics.They kill the damaging bacteria that causes inflammation in the GI Tract. This slows the progress of degenerative disease.
Alfalfa is a nutrient rich whole super food in a highly digestible form. Typically, ill chins are deprived of the Alfalfa they NEED because it can cause diarrhea.
In this form it's absorbed quickly and unable to cause such complications.

ADMINISTERING LIFE LINE:
As a Treatment- Offer 1/4 tsp. 1-2x Daily
As a maintenance/preventative - as little as 1/8th tsp. Every other day will suffice.
Life Line can be fed alone as a powder or sprinkled over food.
You can add water anywhere from a watery consistency to a thick paste.
If your Chinchilla is having Digestive difficulties including appetite loss- Add honey.
If your Chinchilla is dehydrated - Add Water.
Some Chinchillas may also benefit from Soy Milk, Goat Milk, &/Or Peppermint Tea.
